Ready For Life, a 501c3 tax exempt organization, was founded in 2009 to advance the development and education of adults with disabilities.
Our Mission & Values
Ready For Life’s mission is to provide immersive and inclusive opportunities for individuals with cognitive, developmental, and social disabilities to be challenged to grow personally, build relationships, and lead a fulfilling and independent life as possible.
Ready For Life’s core values are inclusion (belong), autonomy (believe), and independence (become). We understand that independence cannot be reached without autonomy. As our clients and students feel they belong, they learn new life skills that give them the confidence to believe in themselves as they achieve their vision of independence. Finally, as belonging and believing are realized, they become valued members of their communities.
Everything at Ready For Life is shaped by these ideas. Ready For Life clients and students, as well as their families, have found Ready For Life to be a supportive, safe place to belong, believe, and become.
